I was born in Bellshill, Scotland in 1969 and educated at Uddingston Grammar School. I've been interested in writing soccer books from an early age and my first published book was a statistical history of the Scotland National Team which came out in 2001. For the last ten years or so I've been researching the history of the European Football Championship and have written and published three parts so far with a fourth book expected to be completed by next year. I enjoy watching most sports and I also like walking and travelling.
