Dr. Rishikesh Upadhyay was born, grew up and lives in a small Nepalisâ€™ hamlet, Bhanjang Basti (erstwhile Bhanjyang Basti) via Mahadev Tilla, at Haflong, the district headquarter of North Cachar Hills (now Dima Hasao district), India. He writes articles, nonfiction titles, research articles, children's, poems, etc., and has spent the past decade working and teaching in higher educational institutions.
