I was born and raised in Seattle in 1959. I grew up in the town of Mountlake Terrace, a small suburb north of the city. Being the youngest, I have two siblings. My eldest brother is, Mike and my sister, Pam. School was challenging, as I suffer with Dyslexia, a learning disability that affects 1 in 15 Americans. That doesn't stop me and I was named "bookworm" in school because I always had my nose in a book. After marrying my 7th grade sweetheart in 2000, we now live in Granite Falls, WA Sparking Imaginations, 1 book at a time.
